Great overnight stay
Staff were fantastic from the moment you check in until you check out. Great bar area for relaxing and the spa was lovely.

Wouldn't recommend
Pros: The location was excellent Cons: Air conditioning broke down twice during my first day. They resetted it again and throughout my stay the air conditioning kept breaking down so got fed up of asking staff to reset it. The breakfast was stale. Sausages rock hard. Then there was a power cut because the hotel was doing some maintenance work. No power for 2 hours. Whole hotel was in the pitch black. Had to use the stairs as lifts weren't working either. I just about climbed the stairs as i have a bad leg. This maintenance work should not have been done on the expense of the customers. What a

Pros: Location Cons: Air conditioning not working, there was a broken fan left in our room on our arrival so they obviously knew about the air con, one lift working in a hotel of that size and one towel for two people. It was very uncomfortable in the room. Far too hot.

Very average
Pros: The 1st floor was nice where the breakfast was served Cons: The room was tiny. The air con didn’t work, there was only one lift working. The receptionist wouldn’t let me add points to my IHG account, which I am able to do at other Crowne plaza hotels
