Crowne Plaza Nottingham by IHG

After a complimentary stay due to first disaster, I will never stay here again!!!!

Pros: The majority of the building is clean and friendly staff. The spa and bar were amazing but the rooms are disappointing!! Not enough towels, pints in the bath, stains on the sheets, had to request more toilet roll and no tissue in holder for the second time !!! Cons: This is a complementary stay due to my daughter’s birthday visit being a disaster. However I am still not happy with the condition of the rooms. I’ve had better stays at a premier inn. The food and staff are the only decent thing about this venue.

One night in Nottingham

Pros: Jemma on reception when I arrived after long flight and train. Room facilities perfect Cons: Nothing

I do not recommend before the cooling and equipment is working.

Cons: The air conditioner was not working, the breakfast selection was poor, the lift did not go to the lower floor, and the sauna equipment did not work properly.

Good location but when staying at the hotel you shouldn’t have to pay for parking.

Pros: Our room on the 5th floor was quiet, dark and beds were comfortable. Cons: The pool was closed when we went to use it. The hot food at breakfast wasn’t very hot!

Overall OK, but would expect more for the price point.

Pros: Upon arrival we were given a room with no air conditioning but we were quickly moved to a room which did have air conditioning. The staff were friendly and helpful. As I am pregnant and we are in the middle of a heatwave, we really benefited from the air conditioning and the use of the pool facilities. The room was clean and the bed was spacious with a decent sized TV. Cons: We actually extended our stay for an extra night, as we enjoyed the use of the pool so much on the first morning. However we were not informed that the pool would not be in use- there were no signs up the day before
