TERRIBLE bed.
Pros: Tired and basic, but reasonably clean, quiet and well positioned and easy to find. Had everything we needed for our short break and the ensuite was adequate. Very close to the many buses into the city centre and some very good local restaurants.
Cons: The bed was soooooo uncomfortable that we barely slept. While awake, I read previous reviews that have said the same thing. The owners always thank people for their reviews, but clearly never act on any of them. Before considering another stay here, we would need to know that investment had been made in some new mattresses.

Great place to stay in Edinburgh!
Pros: I had a room with a shared bathroom. The bathroom was very clean and spacious, with body wash and shampoo in the shower. My room had some towels I could use, a sink and a hairdryer. The room also had a kettle and some tea, coffee, milk and sugar and some paper cups to make a hot drink. The breakfast was also more than enough and included cereals, oatmeal, toast and tiny croissants, fruit, yoghurt, nutella and an assortment of jams with milk, tea, coffee, orange and apple juice for drinks. Overall for me this was perfect.

A lot of dirt
Cons: Very basic breakfast, super dirty room, the sheets were full of hair, cobwebs on the walls, horrible. We talked to the guy and he cleaned it up for us, but come on, paying to find that dirt... disgusting.
Muchisima suciedad
Cons: Desayuno muy básico, habitación súper sucia, las sabanas estaban llenas de pelos, telarañas por las paredes, horrible. Hablamos con el chico y nos la adecentó, pero vamos, pagar para encontrarte con esa suciedad... asqueroso.
