Timeless luxury with historic charm

My husband and I had plans to see a concert in Mexicantown and decided to turn it into a late summer overnight in Detroit (and took advantage of the locals’ discount rate). Having heard great things about this hotel, we were not disappointed! The room was spacious and stylish, with a large TV, cute little couch, and a comfy bed. Really tasteful and luxe furnishings, and a great little minibar. Hard to beat LE LABO shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and soap. We had such a wonderful stay at the Foundation Hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, the amenities feel luxurious, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. But what really made it special was the team, especially John, the concierge, who was absolutely wonderful to deal with. We were in Detroit to take our son to his very first concert, and John and the team went above and beyond to make it memorable.
