Room is clean and comfortable, but neighborhood is not great

Pros: The room was clean and very comfortable. Check-in was easy and although the neighborhood is very dirty, access to metro and attractions was good. Cons: Would never stay in Hells Kitchen again but this is not a reflection on the property but on the city. The neighborhood was falling apart and disgusting. Regarding the hotel, there was this $29 mandatory fee that we could use for credit but one th first day each person explained it differently and we didn't figure out how it worked until our last day. so basically we wasted two $29 fees because it wasn't explained properly. Pros: Very good location, the room is a bit small but there is enough space for two people and it was clean and comfortable. It also had a very nice view. Cons: Booking.com rate was not applied to my reservation when I checked in so I had to ask for the clarification. The room has AC but it was not strong enough to cool the entire room.

COULDN'T BE BETTER!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Distrikt Hotel in NYC. The accommodations were excellent, a nice central location for our activities and was topped off by a welcoming, responsive and very friendly staff. Zeta, Dennis, and Jonathan were all excellent hosts whether it be temporarily storing our luggage since we arrived 5 hours before check-in, greeting us personally on every exit and re-entry and even finding umbrellas for us to use when a sudden rainfall broke out. I always have a great experience at Hilton properties and this one was one of the best. Book a room there and find our fo
