Will be a long time before I recommend someone professionally and personally stay at a Doubletree.
Pros: The staff were extremely informative and tried to help as much as they were allowed to. Cons: The systems were down for hours and I wasn't able to check in and take a shower to get ready for my dinner reservations. Which meant I had to cancel and be charged the reservation fee for my wife's Birthday celebration.
A disappointment, in short.
Pros: It was clean and comfortable. Cons: Was not told when I booked that 1. Breakfast was not included and 2. That I had to pay to park. Every hotel includes breakfast in the rate and no hotel charges to park. The only reason this scam was played was to bring their published rate down allowing them to better compete in this suburban market, knowing full well they were going to pick up breakfast and parking. “Breakfast” was nothing but a basic buffet-that they charged $18 for and the parking lot was a huge surface lot for 300 vehicles-what other reason existed for them to charge to park.
