The View, Breafast, & Ruth Chris only eases one's disappointment of the condition it's in.
Pros: The View is Spectacular. I cant speak highly enough regarding the view if you have riverfront room. The Breakfast Buffet was fantastic. The Staff were helpful, curtious, really just awesome. Ruth Chris Steakhouse, well it is a mic drop itself. Cons: My sole issue is that Doubletree is in such poor shape. DoubleTree Jacksonville is beyond past due for a renovation & have completly missed all openings even for a "Lip Stick on a Pig" fix. Another issue, I didnt like the hidden fees. I've stayed here before ( 10 years ago it was really nice so when I saw the nightly cost, it suckered me in

It was ok Just expected more from the hotel with the name and being a high end hotel
Pros: Nice and clean in main area my room had a few concerns A brown substance under table on wall Stretches on paint Fixture coming off shower Cons: Priest nice

The cleanliness of the room, the staff and most of all the view of the riverfront was amazing
Pros: Didn’t know you had to pay for breakfast but the overall stay was wonderful 😊 Cons: Paying for breakfast
