DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Jacksonville Riverfront

Disappointed.

Cons: The decor was very dated, not the usual DoubleTree standard. It looked and felt tired. The room itself was very worn, carpets threadbare and ceilings and walls dirty, it looked like water damage to parts. In the mornings the floors and walls a were all damp. I appreciate its Florida in October but this really shouldnt be happening. The bar was small and had limited options for seating. The shop was basic to say the least. the staff, as usual however, were excellent.

Below expectations.

Pros: Check in , everyone was friendly. Cons: Hotel is very, very outdated. Broken furniture, scratches everywhere. Curtains broken and so on.

Was ok, price ok. Rooms need work

Pros: Over priced and not hot or fresh Cons: Rooms dated and not very clean. Hot water was available for 1 shower out of a 3 night stay. Chunk of concrete missing above my room on the balcony.

Cons: The room was smaller than I expected and the hotel in general appears to be outdated. We also didn’t like that breakfast wasn’t included in the stay and had to pay an extra fee. So we did not have the breakfast.

Cons: The room weren't the best and the place is old and we had to request change of room but the new room had bad odors like mold
