Ok, was expecting more for the money as it's a 4-star hotel.
Pros: Location ideal for going to Wembley Stadium. Cons: The air con wasn't working very well, which was a problem as we are in the middle of a heatwave, so they gave us a fan. We asked for 2 firmer pillows for the bed; they were sent up but we were abruptly told we had to hand back the 2 soft pillows for other guests. A lot of dust under the bed, not been hoovered, stains on the bed sheet. Checking out wasn't straightforward; when we left, we noticed they had charged us again so had to return to the hotel. Pros: We've used this hotel on multiple occasions over the last 5 plus years; it's always been a good choice with few complaints. Cons: On this occasion, we had to deal with a very, very difficult situation with the staff unfortunately. Basically, this was a booking for a work trip; two colleagues were staying for two nights, pre-payments were taken to the amount of the cost of the rooms but then Lily, on reception, tried to force my colleagues to pay the full amount a second time instead of the outstanding balance.
