Perfect location, disappointing experience.

Pros: Location was perfect, beds were comfy, and the rooftop had great views! Cons: As soon as we arrived there was water dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom onto the floor, creating a large puddle. I immediately went and asked for a new room and they said they were booked and would send someone up to fix it. While someone did come up quickly, the attitude at the front desk did not feel very empathetic. It was very matter of fact - ok we’ll send someone up. NYC visit amazing!

Pros: Nice welcome with warm cookies and water as it was hot! We arrived early 1:30!! and our room was ready, thank you Double Tree by Hilton!! Location was fab for everything, tube station right by hotel & Maddison square garden. We got the train in from the airport, cheaper than taxi and quick! Staff friendly, especially breakfast. Breakfast was good, choice good, cereals, pastries, toast machine, bagels and cooked portion such as bacon eggs sausage… Lovely roof garden, views of the Hudson& the Edge! you can order drinks & food. Pros: Everything is nice about this hotel, the location and cleanliness and the staff also were professional and friendly. Cons: The rooms are a bit small and feel uncomfortable.

Everything was great except the mini fridge was clicking on and off very often, making a loud noise and keeping us up at

Pros: Basic needs met, did the job. Cons: The building is old, so ceiling is coming apart in some places. And shower leaks onto the tile floor.

Not a great stay unfortunately.

Pros: The proximity of the hotel to penn station Cons: I was billed for a in room bar item that was never used, I had to call the next day and have the charge dropped. AC unit was horrible.
