A generally good stay

Pros: No queue at reception upon arrival and no wait for the lift during 3 day stay. Hotel is located at a good location, a short walk from city centre and in the immediate vicinity to Sheffield United football ground. The room was large, and had a comfortable bed. It was generally clean and tidy. I was able to open the window ajar for fresh air, and the air conditioning/heating was effective when needed to be used. The hotel was very quiet at the time of my visit, with a good amount of parking available. Breakfast was varied and well stocked. The evening dining menu was varied and had mul

Pros: Staff were friendly but would have liked a compensatory gesture for the lost sleep. The stay would have been fine without the malfunctioning hardware. Cons: Unfortunately the air)con/fan in our room broke, and heated room to 27.5c it woke us and because night manager could not reset or fix, we had to dress repack and relocate to another room. This was done without fuss. But would have liked a gesture, like free breakfasts, for example, to reflect our loss of 2-3 hours sleep.

Pros: Ruime propere en mooie comfortabele kamers - heel lekker ontbijtbuffet met opgewekt personeel - goed gelegen dichtbij het stadscentrum Cons: Goed nadenken wanneer je de auto parkeert op de hotelparking hoelang je ter plaatse gaat blijven. Beter bij elke parkeerbeurt apart betalen dan voor de hele periode van je verblijf

Dark rooms not enough lighting and barely any hanging space in the wardrobe

Pros: Located near to where we needed to be Cons: The rooms are so dark, only option of three lamps in the room, no central main light it meant having to open curtains and nets on the window to see properly. The light switches were wired in a strange way, turning the bathroom light in then caused the reading light to come on !

Cons: No fridge in the room.
