Great party hotel
I recently returned from DD after our 6th visit and we plan to return. The hotel has always had a special vibe, with a lively atmosphere, great location and a fantastic feature - the pool. The leadership team are super helpful (especially Sergii and Oeteka) and I’d recommend DD as a great choice if you want a party atmosphere.
Great and different location for a hotel in NYC - definitely a place to consider
Pros: The location was GREAT! It is different and not your normal "NYC hotel location" and that is what makes it such a great place to stay. The subway is right there on 8th Avenue. You have the High Line, Chelsea Market, The Hudson River, the start of the village and so much more with Union Square just a 10 minute walk! Cons: The rooms - they skimped on them. They are just a bit too small and cramped. The lighting system is weird (Light switch behind the door in the bathroom???) and too bright... The sound insulation is poor too.... Do not need to hear a woman being satisfied in the roo

Great hotel and pool, but restricted for families!
Hotel was very clean and nice. But families be aware!! Pool turns in to a beach club 11am-6pm and is 21+. My kids 10 and 12 were devastated and could only sue the pool 8-10:30am it borderline ruined our experience. Upon booking I disclosed our two children and ages and did not get any message about this pool restriction. I found out at check in.
