Pros: Central location along Princes St, so it was close to everything
Pros: Central location along Princes St, so it was close to everything. The staff who checked me in was very nice and friendly. Also, it felt safe - with 24/7 reception. It was good enough for one night stay, literally just for sleeping. Though if you are a light sleeper, reconsider. Cons: Small bathroom, which I should have expected. What I didn't expect was how thin the walls are - I could hear people in the next room and in the hallway, and they were just talking and walking normally.

Pros: Wonderful view of Edinburgh Castle. Cons: More like a wardrobe than a room.
