Would visit again

Pros: Location was superb. Literally 10 minute walk to the abbey, baths, shops, restaurants. Staff all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb. Can tell good quality meat for sausage and bacon, all very fresh and plentiful. Cons: Bathroom could have been cleaner. What looked like mold on shower wall actually rubber off easily, although I only rubbed one or two spots. Looked like dirty cloth used in sink and residue / bits left on edge, easily wiped off with tissue. 2 hairs on sink and one on top if bed. Although bed linen was crisp and clean so presuming this may have been the cleaners. W

Location…. 5 to 10 minute walk from the Abbey over Pulteney bridge. Also a beautiful building.

Pros: Central location, and staying in historic property. Nice little garden. Very good breakfast. Cons: Room 19, down too many stairs. One lampshade had some of its covering ripped off. Shower bit grimy along the bottom runners of door slide.. Plastic toilet seat kept moving around when in use. Some of the hot chocolate and coffee packets looked a bit old and worn. Tea bags not good quality. Person on reception not very friendly or welcoming looked too busy.
