Place with a history. Big room, quiet neighborhood, great breakfast, friendly staff. The building is quite bitten up, old windows, old furniture, dust here and there, and the smell of an old building. But the bed was comfy, the duvets were warm and the price was good for a rather central location. If you like things being perfect, it's a wrong place. But for less picky guests the overall experience is worth the price.

Pros: Charming hotel - great staff. Room was comfortable and very clean. Great location. Cons: Booked without breakfast but was told it was included.... now found out I have been charged extra for it which is disappointing.

Pros: Lovely period property Cons: Shabby, poor repairs, bedroom carpet need a clean. Plumbing from other rooms extremely loud.

Pros: The staff were really friendly and helpful, they tried to fix the problem with the shower, and offered us a free breakfast the next day Cons: There was no pressure for the shower, it was very hard to regulate the hot and cold, if you're not careful you could badly scold yourself,
