Nice clean modern room near downtown and event spaces.
Pros: Rooms were clean and quite cute. Bathrooms spacious and spa-like. Cons: Thought parking was on campus. But parked on corner lot, without trouble. No ice machines on the floors but staff got us some.
Favorite Marriott property in downtown Minn
Nice hotel! I always rank hotels based on its fitness center, shared lobby space, food (tavola is excellent), and shower. All were great! I have been looking for a nice hotel in Minneapolis that is walking/running distance to the river downtown. I have now tried a number of the Marriott properties, and this one is my favorite - I’ll be back.
Not as good as it should be
The Elliot Park is a decent hotel, but it didn't work as well as it should for the price point. We experienced a lot of minor issues. There was one robe for a double room, the decaf coffee in the restaurant was cool, a glass of wine was overcharged by $8 during happy hour, and parking valets were hard to find. We had a $100 credit from a Chase credit card. When I checked out and asked for a receipt showing all of our credits and charges, I was told that it wasn't possible because the charges against the credit had already been processed. This place was wonderful! It’s a very cute hotel in a perfect location. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again.

New modern hotel in quiet part of downtown but still walkable to most things. High recommend and always disappointed when it's sold out and I have to stay elsewhere.
