Elmhurst Hotel

Cheap, not very clean. Location is good

A cheap hotel, don't expect too much! Slept fine.

Budget hotel, shower head falling apart, bedding very old and split in places.

When i arrived at the property, the outside was very dirty and looked rundown. The room door looked as if it had been kicked in previously, as i entered there was an empty mcdonalds bag and bottles/cans of stella on the side, clearly from a previous guest. The bed sheet had a dried contact lens on it, with the duvet cover had several stains on it. The bathroom smelled of urine and had sticky floors, thankfully there was a bottle of bleech next to the toilet, which i used with soapy water. Drying the floor with the white shower matt, which came up black....... The entire hotel was in serious

Comfortable, if a little tired.

I stayed for 1 night on my way to London. The welcome from the member of staff was excellent. He was really friendly and couldn't do enough for me. I'd seen reviews of the hotel so was expecting it to be a bit grotty but, although it is tired, the room was comfortable and clean (the bed was very comfy and I slept really well). Yes there are bad reviews gir the hotel but my experience was far from it.

The staff were lovely
