Horrible experience. Scary, not recommended at all. It's a favela.
Pros: Nothing. It was a horrible and traumatic experience. Upon arrival, the owner was not there, and her daughter, under the influence of substances, came and argued. The entrance was through favelas... horrible. Many problems to pay... it was a madhouse. Once in the room, we locked ourselves because we were very scared... Very loud music... the TV too... it was impossible to sleep for real. There were bugs... But above all, it was the fear of being in a favela... I don't know how people can rent this apartment, it's terrible. REALLY DON'T GO. IT'S VERY SCARY. I was very, very scared. Cons: E

In a hidden gem right by the sea
Pros: The check-in went smoothly and both the owner Nayara and the staff Tatiana were very kind and helpful. The accommodation was very close to the airport and right by the sea. Good breakfast arranged in the morning. Cons: A bit noisy but nice that there is a bar and terrace at the property. We stayed here during the rainy season and because of this, there was a lot of trash on the beach, and a house raft that might have ended up in front of the property's terrace due to the wind. But other than that, we had a pleasant stay.

It didn't work out
Pros: The proximity to the airport Cons: I was woken up at midnight by the owner who played loud music, they were talking loudly and I couldn't rest, the bathroom had no toilet paper, no towel, the room door had no lock and I was alone, the owner was very drunk and brought a man into the house. It's not a hostel, it's a house, there's no kitchen available to heat up water. I felt unsafe and uncomfortable.
