Liked the idea of a boutique hotel more than the actual experience

I loved the idea of a boutique hotel more than the actual experience. The room was clean and the beds comfortable but the room and the bathroom were very small for three people. The staff was great. And before checking out I checked several times to make sure there weren’t any additional charges. I was assured there were none. Then I see an additional charge for $69.87. No explanation after I specifically checked because of reading other reviews! I plan to call about this in the morning but am not optimistic after reading other reviews.

I liked this place until checkout & bill

This is a nice hotel that was conveniently located for a one-night business trip to Massachusetts General Hospital. The room was nice and I took advantage of the complimentary bicycles for an early-morning ride along the nearby Charles River greenway. Oddly, there were no washcloths and no bath mat in my room. I don’t know whether that was a housekeeping mistake or standard procedure, but I made do using hand towels instead. It was fine and not worth bothering the front desk over, but I would expect a full compliment of linens at this price point. I had planned for the above to be my 4-star r

Pros: Walking distance to most places Cons: The breakfast was not worth the price and there was no dresser to put your belongings

Pros: Walking distance to most places Cons: The breakfast was not worth the price and there was no dresser to put your belongings. The tv also did not work.
