Small room with noisy AC and not comfortable bed

Pros: The location, close by to where we needed to go Cons: The beds and pillows were too soft, they didn’t provide enough support. The room is very small. The AC is very noisy and does not cool enough. We call the maintenance person but just showed us how to turn on and off. It was way cooler in the aisle by the elevator. The entrances of the hotel are by the sides of the building. They are not wide enough, so it’s difficult to enter pulling bags. The days we stayed, there were always bins of sheets/towels being delivered and bins of trash. We were not able to get in/out of the taxi in front

Good, clean place to stay for 'normal' money in NY.

Pros: The staff in all aspects was brilliant. The room was clean and quiet. The ability to store our luggage before and after. Cons: With a European background i found the breakfast 'interesting' but I've never been to the USA, and so I don't know if this is normal. A buffet with sparse setup, paper plates, and plastic cutlery. I could find something to eat but and for the amount of people coming to it, it was always replenished quickly but certainly an experience. I hope for the room to be a bit bigger but at the end of the day, it did it's job.
