Stylish but small rooms are particularly small

Pros: Stylish design of former barn set in wine estate with good views over estate. Cons: Small rooms were really tiny - double bed squashed against one wall. Stylishly done but difficult for 2 people to move around, as once the bathroom door was open there was very restricted floor space. Just checked photo and The Rails is shown with the bed with access on both sides but had been rearranged with the bed against the wall. Breakfast was a pleasant cold buffet but apparently they may be reinstating the excellent hot options which a colleague had enjoyed preciously.

Pros: Breakfast was very good

Pros: Breakfast was very good. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location is surprisingly rural. Cons: Room was tiny - no chair, TV or wardrobe (no space!). Also very stuffy (had to have the fan on all night).

Pros: Location was very good on the Winery. Staff were very good. Cons: Only issue is the room was very small. It was a two person room and I was the only person in it. Could not bring up my larger bag as there was no room to place it. Took up the carry-on bag to the room. I should have know it would be a problem when I booked.

Cons: My room on the second floor was affected by a persistent intrusive mechanical noise

Cons: My room on the second floor was affected by a persistent intrusive mechanical noise. The staff indicated Rathfinny is well aware of this. I had the disturbance of having to move to another room. I really don’t think you should be letting the affected room until the problem is resolved.
