Beautiful location and facilities, felt a bit crowded and overpriced, not really boutique.

Pros: Beautiful location, comfortable room and fantastic food in the Indian restaurant onsite. À la carte breakfast was very good. Very well equipped gym and plenty of onsite parking. Cons: The buffet breakfast was poor quality, very dry and overcooked meat. Staff seemed a bit lost during breakfast, leading to slow service and errors. Facilitates were very busy and at times this made Foxhills seem not very exclusive, I expect a hotel advertised as boutique to feel a little less “mass market”, especially given the nightly rate.

Amazing for everyone!

Pros: Great location, very easy to get too from London. Amazing grounds, friendly staff and excellent for families, during the holidays they have activities for kids of various ages. Also adult only areas for parents and others to switch off. Oscar who works in the pavilion is an absolute star, so helpful. Cons: Nothing

Beautiful setting let down by an unbearably hot room and mediocre breakfast — wouldn’t stay again.

Pros: Location, grounds and building were lovely. The bathroom was a good size. Check-out staff on reception were excellent, particularly Olivia who kindly arranged a taxi for me. Night staff were also very helpful. Cons: The room itself was fine but nothing special for the price. There’s no air conditioning, and while I understand why the heritage building might not have it, I was staying in the new-build part, not the main house. I know it isn’t listed as an amenity on the website, but most hotels don’t list air-con either, since it’s assumed as standard. Even a basic Premier Inn has it. The
