Enjoy staying close to El Moez street

Pros: Very pleasant stay, very central and a nice friendly environment. Miriem makes you feel very welcome. Cons: Bathroom small but well organised.

Authentic wonderful stay

I am so glad we chose to stay at Gamaleya. The staff were so kind, welcoming, and helpful. The food was tasty, fresh, plentiful and made with love. It's like a bit of a homestay experience, sitting next to the kitchen for meals, asking questions about life in Cairo, traditional dishes, and getting tips for the city. Being in the old party of the city was really cool and we felt very safe. This hotel is exceptional value. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay here with kids too. [There is noise from the street at times (mainly some honking), so if you are sensitive to that, just bring some ea

Fabulous stay, Food was divine!

Pros: I liked how the property was. It had an old time charm about it and the room was great. Exactly what I needed, not too much or too little. The food was the highlight. The breakfast and dinner was the best food I’ve eaten in the entire trip! It allowed me to taste real Egyptian cuisine by locals and home made fresh. The location too is good with Khan El Khalili market round the corner. Cons: Nothing I can think of.
