Great location - pricey for the level of comfort
Pros: It was a great location. Cons: It was very expensive for the service. A tea cost about seven dollars. The window in the room was dirty in the sun. The bathroom was full of warnings not to take the toiletries. You have to pay extra for a sun lounger. Just a bit off for the cost.

Moderate modern accommodation
We stayed at the Gansevoort for one night during our stay in New York City. The room was overpriced for generic moderate accommodation. The location is good for walking to Greenwich Village, West Village and Highline. Staff was friendly and accommodating, the rooftop bar is fun if you like a hip trendy scene. If you’re looking for a modern hotel, this might be a good fit, otherwise New York City offers many more high-end the hotels that feel more luxurious.
