Gatwick Inn Hotel

Reasonably priced, not bad for a 1 night stay/ somewhere to sleep, but if I was staying longer, I may have been a bit disappointed. Very basic, serves the purpose.

Stay away from this property at all cost! We had a late nite check in and our room was not cleaned at all before we got there. As soon as we walked in the room it had a weird small to it. Lets start with the bathroom. The glass cup on the bathroom sink still had crusty toothpaste spit inside and dripping the sides of the cup. The toilet had urine and pubic hairs on the seat. The toilet base was filthy with urine, dirt, hair and animal droppings. The floor around the sink and toilet was filthy. The window above the tub had clusters of mold and dirt all over. When I booked the hotel, continental breakfast was included - part of the reason I chose this location over other similarly priced hotels. Upon check-in, I was informed that the breakfast option is not currently available. The room was small, the bathroom was dirty with mould on the walls. The toilet had no lid. The walls were extremely thin. The "garden view" showed an unkempt mess with trash and weeds abundant. Completely misleading listing.

Value for price

Deluxe room included a living room area with a comfy sofa, much appreciated. Could use an additional chair for 3-4 person seating. Beds were clean and comfortable. Need to deal with bathroom mould issues and minor window maintenance. Overall, good stay close to Gatwick for the price.
