Sleeping deprived!

Lovely from the outside very dated within, rooms tired and shower very poor really noisy room 147 constant banging not very relaxing at all.

Fantastic hotel. A bit of mix up with afternoon tea but thanks to Katie all sorted promptly. Recommend the afternoon tea and party night 5 star.

Tired..........not just me - the hotel too

Stayed for two nights bed and breakfast basis whilst attending a work event. My employer had booked the hotel for me so I had little say in the accommodation I chose. If I had been able to choose; I would have chosen somewhere else based on previous reviews and it would have been a wise decision. I found the hotel to be very dated. Tired fixtures and fittings; bathroom tired - shower had little water pressure; couldn't stand up straight under the shower fitting; plastic disc behind the shower control loose and not fitted correctly; bottom of the door swollen and splitting from water damage;

Pleasant stay

This was my second stay, but this time it was much smoother. I recently attended a Christmas party night, and I think that might have been the reason for the previous stay being so hectic, as it was a busy period. The staff were great, and the service was just as good. This stay was mainly to visit local family, so I only had breakfast. However, I do have dietary requirements, and everything was taken care of, even though it is self-service. Gavin provided table service as my breakfast had to be cooked separately, and we had a little laugh as he was one of the staff members I remembered from m

Great for a family mini break

Perfect place for a family mini break. Breakfast excellent, warm swimming pool and good equipment in the gym. Lovely staff, very welcoming both reception and fitness suite . Plenty of amenities, restaurants close by. A little drive from city centre but overall great little break. Thank you!
