Atmospheric ancient inn in the heart of York
Pros: Great location in the centre of York. Spooky and atmospheric. Really good breakfast Cons: The marketing material sent out before. The menu is a bit basic pub food so I ate elsewhere
A fantastic and unforgettable stay in one of York’s most atmospheric and historic hotels – we absolutely loved it! 👻❤️
Pros: We absolutely loved the Golden Fleece! The building is full of character and history, and staying somewhere with so much atmosphere made our visit to York really special. The location was fantastic, the staff were lovely and welcoming, and the whole place had such a unique charm. We especially loved the spooky atmosphere and the fact that it felt like we were staying somewhere with a real story to tell. Cons: We honestly struggled to find anything we didn’t like. The building is old and full of character, so there are a few quirks that come with staying somewhere historic, but that’s als
