Gordons

Couldn't be a perfect setting for the gorge, rooms bob on and breakfast bang on! Recommed all day.

Pros: Gordon’s is in a great location, close to many places of interest such as Jacob’s Ladder, the museum, and plenty of restaurants. The room was exceptionally clean and very quiet. At breakfast, the young man who served us was very polite, although I didn’t catch his name. The woman who also served us was equally friendly and helpful. The host was very informative and gave us some great recommendations for the best places to eat in the area. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. Cons: Nothing.

Great location, comfy beds and a good cooked breakfast

Pros: Great location. Comfy bed. Modern shower and very clean rooms. Good cooked breakfast. A fan in the room was much appreciated. Cons: Could’ve done with a bit more space to hang clothes - the room was basic but comfortable. WiFi didn’t reach our room

Anniversary weekend

Pros: We liked everything about Gordons hotel. The hotel location was perfect. The owners and staff were extremely polite and helpful. Our room was clean and tidy, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, we both enjoyed a full English breakfast with tea and orange. The hotel also has the added bonus of a heated pool which was a delight that me and my wife fully enjoyed to. Cons: No dislikes
