Discomfort

Cons: The hotel has been under renovation since May, unfortunately it still allows booking on the Booking website. We arrived at 6 pm and a lady working there informed us that the hotel was closed and our reservation had been diverted to another hotel nearby (12 minutes by car). Unfortunately, we had chosen the hotel for its strategic location for the appointment we had at 9 pm, so we could leave the car at the hotel and walk to the event. It is especially unfortunate that the app still showed 'confirmed reservation' and there was no email about the change. We contacted Booking, which after a

Apart from being notified to change hotels at the last minute, everything else met expectations

Cons: When changing hotels, I hope to be notified in advance and preferably given reasons, rather than receiving a sudden and unclear notification

Horrible. I was moved to another terrible hotel, without my agreement.

Pros: Nothing was good there. Cons: After booking through Booking, I was moved to another hotel within the network without my agreement. The other hotel was far from the center of Milan, with no nearby metro station, old and not renovated. It is not worth being rated 4 stars. In this hotel, there wasn't even a restaurant to eat in the evening. Terrible experience overall. Do not book there if you don't want to have a catastrophic stay. No support from Booking either. I am considering stopping working with Booking too.
