Grand Hotel Sunderland

Cons: The room wasn't clean at all , I would of left and went to another hotel if the match wasn't on and there was availability else where , food or brown residue on the wall left hand side of the window bed base had the same residue on the front and side of the base TV wouldn't connect to the free WiFi heaters in room weren't working even though turned up lucky enough there was a little plug in heater in the room spoons for tea and coffee were dirty ive stayed in this hotel 3 times and the first time it was none of the above but after a second visit which was disappointing i thought id give

Pitiful

Pros: Room 225. Water pressure. Comfortable beds. Ample space and storage. WIFI. All staff except the Asian receptionist male who lied to my face. Perfect room temperature. Cons: Cobwebs on windows. Dust on room fan Stains on carpet. Toilet roll not replenished Upkeep of rooms not serviced I asked to put a breakfast on the room and was refused. Out of Toilet roll on day two

Pros: Location and friendly and helpful staff. Cons: N/A

I was please with my stay but disappointed about shabbiness of staircase to second floor.

Pros: Position, breakfast room, lift and staircase to first floor. Cons: New carpet needed on stairs between first and second floors. No food available during afternoons.

It was a nice comfy and cozy room with a nice view of the beach, it was perfect and I'll be back definitely.
