Grand Park Hotel Vancouver Airport, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Very uncomfortable and not clean. I will not stay here again.

Terribly disappointing end to our vacation.

Pros: The bed was elevated and comfortable. Multiple king sized pillows. Walked across the street to Evan’s restaurant which was a great experience. Cons: The carpeting in the lobby and elevators needed vacuuming. Our room needed a deep clean - stains on drapes, dead spider on ceiling over tub, dirty shower tile dirty vent and smeared mirrors. There was no wi-fi card and the tv didn’t work. We called the front desk and they seemed to be short staffed since the response was discouraging. My husband was annoyed by the layout of the bathroom and need for repairs. No bath mat. Thin towels. Shuttle

Run down, hammered and neglected hotel

Pros: Location Cons: Black mold all over the shower. Pay for parking. Breakfast was not worth the money.

Overall disappointing

Pros: The night shift front desk clerk who arranged airport transport was very helpful Cons: Room smelled bad. I walked on the carpet barefoot and when I looked at my feet they were black. Clearly carpet needed to be cleaned better and the room deodorized.

Excellent location and super comfy beds

Pros: The hotel had everything we needed for an overnight stay between flights. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept in for ages and everything was clean and spacious. The location was really convenient, close to public transport and not far from the airport. The free shuttle to and from the airport was excellent. Cons: Unfortunately the coffee machine was broken so we couldn't have a hot drink when we woke at 6am in the morning. We rang the front desk and they said we had to wait until a service member arrived at 8am to arrange a new one. It would have been nice to have a room serv
