Would I come again? Yes.
Pros: Public transport to and from the location was good and easy to use. The large estate with space to breathe was relaxing. Breakfast and service was good. The staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The rooms are well laid out and comfortable. Cons: No air conditioning. The rooms are too hot and not enough windows to open. Dinner was average.
A very relaxing stay in a beautiful setting
Pros: It was a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting with excellent facilities snd the staff were wonderful. We particularly like the setting on the river. We also found the convenience of a bus stop close by was a bonus getting in and out of Henley without using the car. Cons: We were surprised how quiet the hotel was and would have liked the atmosphere of more guests around. Air conditioning in the room would have been nice although the fan provided was quite efficient considering the heatwave during our stay.
We booked for 2 nights but only stayed 2 hours.
Cons: The room was just too hot with no air. We had booked for 2 nights but only stayed 2 hours and we had to leave.
