Relaxing early week break.

My Wife and I stayed here early in the week for two nights. The room was very comfortable but very warm as we were in the middle of a heat wave. Staff thoughtfully provided the room with a fan. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The staff were very pleasant, polite and helpful. Being early week, the atmosphere was quiet but quite relaxing. The menu in the restaurant was a little limited but the food was tasty and well presented. The location is ideal, close to three major motorways and London. Avoid at all costs

isappointment is an understatement. The rooms don’t have AC, I suggest you seriously reconsider your hotel choice if you’re booking it during current uk summer or if the temperature outside is above 20 degrees. The rooms are unbearable, there is fan in the room the size of a Coca Cola can. The showers have less pressure than a watering can so you can’t even properly cool down in a shower.

Clean, comfortable, great breakfast

A little tired in places, but good size rooms with very comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean. Free spacious car park. Staff very helpful and great breakfast. Would stay again.

Honest Review of Grovefield House Hotel The biggest positive about Grovefield House Hotel is undoubtedly its staff. Throughout my stay they were polite, friendly, helpful and attentive, and they deserve credit for providing good customer service despite the condition of the hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel itself feels well past its sell-by date. It is in desperate need of a complete refurbishment. Walking through the building is like stepping back into the mid-1990s, and not in a charming or nostalgic way. My room was generally clean, but it was very tired. The taps and plumbing were old an
