Bedroom very disappointing, certainly not the relaxing boutique hotel experience we had anticipated.
Pros: Staff and location excellent, as was breakfast the following morning. We also enjoyed an evening meal with friends in the restaurant, which was exceptional in every way. Cons: Room very poor and overpriced (Room 6). Tiny bedroom with no space whatsoever for a chair/wardrobe/dressing table/chest of drawers. The mirrors in the room were located at a low level, immediately above the bedside tables. Rails/hangers, an attempt at an open wardrobe, were located above the mirror and totally inadequate to be able to hang the likes of a dress or coat. There was also a mini-fridge on the left bedsi

Pros: The location is perfect, the restaurant is really nice. Cons: The room was tiny & tired, scuffs on walls etc.

Not recommended
Pros: The bathroom and breakfast were OKAY Cons: The room was a disgrace. Third floor with a narrow staircase. The room was so small that the suitcase could only be opened on the bed. No wardrobe, only 2 clothes hangers on the left and right side of the bed. Window could not be opened and there was a fan in the bathroom. I have stayed in many hotels, but here we were glad to leave.

Very nice rooms in a great location
Pros: Very nice room, great location, extremely nice staff & the best scrambled eggs for breakfast I have ever had Cons: There was a loud (exhaust) ventilation shaft outside the window, presumably from the kitchen, so the window had to be kept closed.
