Hakone Retreat villa 1/f

Highlight of any Japan trip !

Pros: This is the highlight stay for us in Japan. Loved the chalet and the entire atmosphere of the resort. I loved our private onsen in the room that is indoor and can open the window and make it a bit outdoor. The entire facility is beautiful and is the middle of nature. We loved the experience of the Japanese dinner and I also loved they have western option for dinner. The buffet for breakfast is good. They provide a cart for transportation and they are present in your chalet almost immediately when you call. Very attentive to details. Their shuttle can drop you to main road to get the bus.

Amazing villa with private onsen. Immersed in the nature. Peaceful. Many amenities, staff friendly and accommodating ! We loved our stay.

Amazing spot to relax - do the villa with the private onsen!

Pros: Amazing property with private onsen and lovely little villa. Just what we were looking for to relax and unwind after a busy trip. Great dinners at the two restaurants on the property. Walking distance to a self-laundry for those who have been traveling a while. Got massages at the spa which were much needed but the best part was definitely our private onsen which we used multiple times a day! Cons: Not really a lunch option on the property - had some relatively tasty frozen pizzas from the little cafe but would have been nice to have more options on the property even just a bowl of n
