Hampton Inn & Suites Grand Rapids Downtown

The hotel overall was fine aside from the bed. 400 Dollars for a one night stay was very high.

Pros: Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly. Cons: The bed was not very comfortable. (Queen Room).

Cons: Location far from Downtown

Convenient place to stay, breakfast ok, rooms need to be better cleaned, some need better training.

Pros: Several members of staff were helpful: we arrived earlier than normal check-in and we were given a room. Other members need more training: while trying to resolve a problem, one staff member needed our name; however, the staff member could not remember our name, which is easy, and had to ask me for it 3 times. After struggling for a while, another staff member stepped in and was able to help us and quickly train the staff colleague. The struggling staff member had a good attitude. Cons: Our room was not properly cleaned. We found clothes were not cleaned up and wondered if the room had b

Nice hotel. Parking situation is just horribly executed

Pros: Location location location. Had a wonderful room. Cons: EVERYTHING to do with the PARKING situation. From lack of directional signage; the gate/check out procedures were unclear…we had to run back into the hotel to get a validation. AND we were charged $18 for all of this disorganized, illogical, disjointed garbage.
