I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Pros: Breakfast was very nice, the location to the zoo was great, just a short ride. We enjoyed ourselves very much. We had a room with a couch, my husband does not like sitting on the be to watch TV, and it was comfortable. Cons: The only thing we didn't like was hearing the elevator at night. Was rumbling in our room 3 doors away.
Only stayed one night, just passing through. Overall the stay was fine.
Cons: Wished the swimming pool wasn’t closed for maintenance.

Could be better with better maintenance
Pros: The location was great for us and the staff was friendly. Cons: The pool was closed for maintenance issues. More than one ice machine was broke down, and one of the two elevators was broke down, causing long waits to go up just two floors.

Pros: The staff was friendly and competent. Cons: The parking situation (June 9-10) and the paving project on the street out front (guests being forced to either leave by 7:30am or be trapped in the parking lot until after 10am) was highly inconvenient. We changed our travel plans and had to leave hours earlier than we needed to - only to find out at 6:30am that the paving would only block part of the lane, and we could have all gotten more much needed rest.
