An absolute gem on the edge of Buxton! Hawthorn Farm is a gorgeous historic house, but what truly makes it special is the incredible hospitality from the owners, Paul and Sarah. They make you feel welcome the moment you step foot on the property. The rooms are spotless and character-rich, and the home-cooked breakfast in the morning is top-tier. A perfect base for exploring the Peak District!
Pros: The room is nicely decorated, the bed is comfortable and very good welcome from our hosts. Great breakfast prepared on request. Cons: Difficult to open and close the front door lock, we were afraid of breaking the key. Stained carpet in the room
