The best welcome to Vancouver by the beach

Pros: This was a great place to land - so many people doing similar visas or travel to talk to. I loved tht it was close to the beach and the surrounding parkland. Buses to the city are easy to figure out and the staff are really helpful. Also had great brekkies and kitchen setup to do own cooking in and relax. Cons: Since its an old school dorm setup -- LOVED that it was in such an interesting building btw -- it means it can be a bit noisy - which can hit if you're jetlagged haha - just make sure you have something for your ears and eyes to help block out sound and light if you're like me :

Excellent location, friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast. We felt safe and comfortable.
