Hilton at AUS Airport turned out to be a genuinely pleasant surprise. It’s not connected to the terminal, but it’s close enough to make early flights or late arrivals easy. The building’s donut shape gives the rooms a unique pie‑slice layout, which ends up being more charming than odd — spacious, modern, and noticeably well‑kept. There’s also a touch of history here: the hotel sits on what used to be Bergstrom Air Force Base, and you can feel a bit of that past in the footprint and the way the property is laid out.
