Great secluded resort
The hotel is a bit far from most things to do in Bridgetown and Holetown, so I would suggestion renting a car instead of using the taxi services.
The staff are friendly and always ready with a greeting and welcome. Although, the housekeeping was a bit erratic. Some days would be great and others you may only have one towel and no hand towels. Some of the restrictions staff at 1887 was less than friendly and seemed annoyed they were at work. While I appreciate a slower island pace, the waitress only came by once during happy hour. I had to go get drinks myself.
It’s a relaxed setting and th

A lovey stay, the nicest people!
The accommodations were beautiful, clean and comfortable with all kinds of comforts and amenities but it is the team who works at the Crane that makes all the difference. From the bellman Trevor, to the housekeeper Robena, to Shaunté the concierge, and especially to Mrs. Donna, the lobby ambassador. They were all so kind, hospitable and gracious. I am so thankful to all of them for contributing to a peaceful, relaxing getaway.

Thank you!
It was an EXCELLENT experience. My son and I visited from Grenada and appreciated the warm welcome and excellent customer service from the following staff: Service- Front Desk, Service- Service Hub, Errol - Bellman, LaToya - Room Attendant, Tanya at Azure and Neil - Security. Thank you guys. Everyone on the entire were pleasant and greeted us. We enjoyed the Kids' pools and all the amenities available for our stay. Thank you all. We would definitely return :)

Great potential but fell short
I submitted a detailed review under The Crane because we spent one half of the trip through HGV Club points and the other half as a "stayover" booking via Hilton. The Crane is great but we had a mixed experience due to 2 major issues with our rooms (1 broken sofabed and 2nd room, no AC). Summer may not be the best time to visit, as the hotel is preparing for the high season. Lots of repairs and renovations. But don't worry about the location being semi- remote. Call (driver) Oneil Cayol +1 (246) 248-7905 for punctual, dependable transportation and flexible day trips away from the resort.

Pros: Facilities in apartment, village feel, scenery in grounds.
Cons: Unclean pool in room, sofa bed was uncomfortable, food options were limited and disappointing.
