Great hotel, great area!

Pros: The Hotel is in quite a quiet road with easy access to bus and tram services into the centre of Edinburgh.The staff in all ares of the hotel were very helpful. Cons: No real faults.the easy chair in the room and the seating in public areas could do with a deepclean to remove stains just to freshen it up

Crap

Pros: Breakfast was fine. Location suited our needs Cons: The most uncomfortable nights sleep we have ever had. The charge for a dog was absolutely ridiculous- more than a 5 star hotel and the room was not that clean to warrant 2 extra hours cleaning charge!

Easy visit to Edinburgh

Exceptional staff on reception and in the breakfast room. Great location a short walk from Ocean Terminal and the tram stops to the city.

Pros: The location is very good, plenty of parking spaces (11£ per day) and bus/tram stops nearby. The room was spacious enough, with everything you might need for a short stay. The staff was helpful. Cons: The breakfast is way worse than the overall hotel experience. I mean, there IS food, you would not starve, but very few options and every day are the same. The breakfast is until 10, but you have to be there at 9 at the latest, or most of the options are gone. Coffee machines are for instant coffee only, not beans.
