Holiday Inn Express - New Albany

Very nice.

Pros: Guy at the front desk was so nice and helpful! Cons: Wasn't enough towels in the bathroom. Front desk guy did offer to bring us more.

The person at the desk was personable.

Pros: The room was comfortable and quiet. Cons: The pool was closed (this was the main reason I chose this facility, so that was disappointing) The floors were not clean. I walked around the room in my bare feet and the bottom of my feet got black. I didn't eat breakfast. I can't eat gluten or dairy. There was only apples and oranges - the oranges were so old they were shriveled and hard. The juice machine was out of order and desperately needed cleaned. The coffee was weak.

Generally, a reliably comfortable stay -- though a few minor issues keep it from a higher rating.

Pros: Breakfast was good, especially the fresh fruit and the automated coffee machines. Cons: At breakfast, I was disappointed that the juice dispenser was out of order. In the bathroom, the lighting surrounding the mirror was blindingly BRIGHT, almost hurting my eyes!

Pros: Location was great for what we were doing in the area. Cons: Lobby floors and elevator areas were very dirty. Something had been spilled outside of the elevator area anasd not cleaned up. Pool was closed for cleaning, after being told that it would be open when I called to inquire about pool open/close times the day prior to our stay. Breakfast....no juice or water available for kids, out of pancakes and cinnamon rolls for an extended period of time....over 30 minutes, and by then there were several guests waiting and not enough product was brought out.

Pros: breakfast was ok Cons: our key didnt work on the 2 day we had to go get it restored, there was alot of dirt and paper stuff under the beds
