The location was good, and I felt safe in the area and it was clean. Had a smoke smell in the blankets and I already don't trust hotel beds so that was a huge no for me. The staff was good, and the breakfast was alright.

Will avoid holiday inn

Pros: Had to be at ku medical center before breakfast started Cons: Elevators required key card to operate. You had to insert key card 8-10 times before elevator would work. When having cancer surgery the next morning you would think holiday inn would be a little more compassionate. On the worst day of your life they charge you $204 for a non descript room.
