Holiday Inn Guildford by IHG

Cons: Self check takes along time. I’ve also been over charged so need to get a refund for this Staff on check In did not know why I had been over charged

Comfortable stay and convenient location close to hospital.,

Pros: Soft bath sheets, safety handle and bath mat. Comfortable bed. Fridge in room. Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like.

Just what we needed

Short stay in Guildford

Pros: Looks like the reception, bar area and restaurant have been recently modernised. It is lovely, very nicely decorated providing a great area to relax at the end of the day. Conveniently located for the A3 which was what we needed for our onward journey. Cons: Room was ok but is in need of some modernisation, especially the bathroom. We had a fridge my parents fridge was missing. Just need updating.

Average and not worth the cost

Pros: Clean and comfortable Cons: There is a qr code on the screen in the room to tell you all about the facilities. But what was represented there did not match the reality. The on the go cafe with Starbucks coffee is not available 24/7. When I pressed the button for room service I got through to reception who seemed clueless and weren't helpful. The hotel is too busy and the staff seemed to be under staffed and stressed.
