Good value for money for a short family stay, but let down by dated facilities and slow service.

Pros: The rooms were comfortable enough for one night. The lack of air conditioning was a downside, especially in the heat with children, and not being able to open the window didn't help. Overall, though, for under £100 including breakfast for a family of four, it still represented very good value for money. Cons: It took around three hours to get a fan delivered to our room, and we only received one after asking three times. The general upkeep of the hotel was also lacking, and it felt like it could benefit from some investment and refurbishment. The corridors, in particular, were very dark

Enjoyable staff with nice and friendly sraff. Rooms clean and adequate size.

Pros: Breakfast choice very good, bar and seating ok. Bar and breakfast staff friendly and attentive. Cons: No signs to reception for the upper floors especially when you had room 224 ? The bar lighting could be brighter.

Apart from not putting our rooms adjacent/ near one another as requested when booking, it was a bit annoying
