Super lovely and helpful host! We had everything we could have needed and it was the perfect base for us. Very comfortable with great facilities and the location was perfect to access the trains into the city.

Very noisy street traffic until late. Hard to sleep.
Pros: The owner is a nice guy. Cons: So loud. The apartment is right on Pascoe Vale Rd, a high traffic area that people love to drive loudly on until 2am - speeding, motorbikes etc. The windows and walls are very thin so you hear everything. You can't open the windows so the room gets hot even on mild days, and the shutters don't keep out the light, so you really need a sleep mask. Needs curtains, which would help with the noise too.
Overall, the stay was positive mainly thanks to the outstanding host.
Pros: I stayed at “Home Away From Home” in Melbourne and had a mixed, but overall decent experience. First of all, the host deserves special recognition – absolutely 10/10. He is super friendly and helpful, even taking me to the nearest supermarket on my first day. He also regularly checks in to make sure everything is okay, which is truly exemplary. The apartment is located a bit outside the city center, but a train station is within walking distance, making it easy to get around. Pros: The host was wonderful and very polite. It’s a well placed apartment with all the facilities you’d need while staying. Cons: The water pressure was a little weak but makes sense being up on the third floor. The room does warm up quite a bit in the day but was an easy fix with a fan.
