Homewood Suites By Hilton Salt Lake City Airport

It was very clean and comfortable.

Pros: It was very clean. Cons: The bathroom shower leaked onto the floor.

Good for one night stay before taking your flight.

Pros: Proximity to the airport and friendly staff. Good gym and pool, guest laudery facilities. Cons: Very close to a major highway, you could hear traffic all the night. No restaurant, you have to walk some 5 minutes to another Hilton hotel nearby with a restaurant. Breakfast was really very basic.

That likely was the last time we would ever stay in a Homewood Suites facility.

Cons: The CO/smoke detector in our room was flashing brightly every 5 to 8 seconds and was located right above the foot of our bed making it impossible to get any sleep. It was like having a lighthouse in our room. We got very little sleep and when we spoke to the manager about it, he was very rude and short with us. He claimed that all their detectors were that way, but we have never stayed in a hotel that had such a disruptive atmosphere in the room. The manager showed very little empathy and refused to admit that the hotel might have a problem in that room that should be addressed.

Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming

We got in very late and Kenni (hope I spelled it right) got us all settled. She went above and beyond. Breakfast was good too. Our one night was a good stopover!!
