Hotel Amelie Berlin

Great value place in central Berlin. No frills but fine for a couple of nights.

Pros: Room was a good size and quiet at night despite central location. Breakfast was basic but sufficient, staff very friendly in giving instructions for late arrivals. Good for bicycle storage at the venue. Cons: Room facilities a bit basic, could have better shelving, esp in bathroom and curtains didn't fully cover the window. The building has a confusing layout as there are other flats in the building not related to the hotel which made it difficult to find the room.

Not very comfortable. Very hot as no ac and fan.

Pros: The location is good and accessible to the public. Cons: Plenty! The room itself is very hot, no airconditioner, no fan provided eventhough we explained that it is really hot and the staff said to open the windows instead. Explained that since it is on the high street, it will be noisy due to cars and noise from people on the streets. Beds have bugs and very old. Toilet is very noisy. No tea and coffee provided in the room. Wifi is very slow. The breakfast has no options and the same every single day. Staff does not unerstand English, need to do sign language at times.
