Hotel Aux Ecuries De La Reine

This is an affordable, historic country inn with a nice restaurant, on the beaten path for exploration of WW2 monuments

Pros: 1. Great location in La Gleize just a few hundred feet from the December 44 Museum and a 10-15 minute drive from Stavelot, a lovely and historic town which also has an abbey with a museum, restaurants, and sites with WW2 significance. 2. As requested in advance, we had a suite with a kitchen (though we only used the fridge), and a bathtub (Accomodation #2) and also received assistance from staff getting a heavy suitcase up and down the stairs, as we had requested in advance. 3. There is an on site restaurant which served a very good dinner (there are many food options, menu available

Great apartment and superb breakfast

Pros: The apartment was fully equipped and had everything we needed. The breakfast was amazing and the staff is very helpful. The adjacent restaurant is also really convenient because there are not many other dining options close by. Cons: Unfortunately we couldn’t use the pool because the water was very murky. They were also doing some work on the pool which was probably related to the quality of the water.

Pros: It's a decent size apartment, with everything you need. The breakfast is excellent. Cons: In place the apartment was a little tired and could do with a refresh.
