Great location and pool

This was a beautiful historic hotel with a great location. We were under-impressed with the actual room given the price. But having said that - the service was phenomenal and the amenities were great.

Alvaro was exceptional and made our stay at the Hôtel du Palais unforgettable. Despite a small hiccup at the start, he quickly turned things around, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Warm, professional, and attentive, he clearly cared about our experience. Nothing was too much trouble, and his attention to detail and service were outstanding—exactly what you expect from a hotel of this calibre, if not better. A wonderful 2 night stay in this gorgeous hotel.

Pros: Beautiful, opulent charm. Excellent location and views. Warm and professional staff. Excellent concierge. Delicious dining at their gastronomic restaurant and Sunset restaurant. Comfortable and very clean. Very thoughtful supply of special glasses to view the eclipse. Cons: Slow room turndown but to be expected on busiest days of the year!
