Hôtel du Port

Pros: very good location, close to metro, park and the lake. I can start running just cross the street.there are many restaurants and grocery stores around. Cons: when weather is hot, to close the windows make room uncomfortable, to open the window it's noisy. normal that's not a problem.

Great for a few nights

Pros: Great location - close to the free swimming area, the port, and also to the metro, so the downtown and the train station are both very accessible. The staff was great and did everything to accommodate our requests. Cons: It was very hot during our stay, and since it’s an older building, they are not prepared to deal with the heat waves. That being said, they provided a fan up front, but there’s no A/C, so in the evenings it was the choice between open windows with a lot of noise outside, or a silent room with very high temperatures.

Comfortable hotel in amazing location

Pros: Very central and nice location at the lake. Pleasant and service-minded staff. Outside looks a bit dated and quirky, but our room was spacious, modern and well-equipped. Good restaurant on the property. Cons: No A/C, but a fan. We still slept well. Traffic noise from the street in front of the room, but on the positive side the windows blocked out the noise surprisingly well when closed. Breakfast OK but pretty basic. Empty trays were left empty.

Pros: Its location, its view of the lake Cons: Aging establishment needing renovation. Very noisy. You can hear the vacuum cleaner of the housekeepers from 8 a.m...

Pros: Central location but very noisy on the lake side even though the rooms are more expensive Cons: The smell in the room and the noise from the road
